Scare actor auditions will be held on Sunday 26th June 2016 at 10am or Tuesday 28th June 2016 at 6pm at Broadditch Farm. Please be on time as late comers will not be accepted. You must be over 16. Please email kirst@broadditch.co.uk for an application form.
On arrival you will have your photo taken and then we will talk you through what we do and what we are looking for. Be prepared to stand up in front of everyone to introduce yourself & tell us why you want to work at BroadWitch Hauntfest.
This is your time to show us your scaring skills! We will provide you with some material. It is not necessary to come in costume. Please come in comfortable clothes and shoes (auditions are held in our barn, so please do not wear your expensive white trainers etc).
We will not audition at any other time for scare actor positions.
What does being a scare actor involve?
Scare acting is very different from traditional forms of performance, scare actors often perform in extremely challenging environments which can be physically demanding & requires a very high level of energy, stamina & positive attitude. Adaptability is very important, as scare actors portray a variety of characters including zombies, vampires, lunatics & everything in between. Scare actors will find themselves performing in darkness, claustrophobic conditions, strobe lighting & fog possibly wearing latex, prosthetics, contact lenses & heavy makeup.
